Robots Will Now Recognize Human emotions!!

Robotics Engineering is growing as fast as a forest fire. Thus, their new work is : Robots Will Now Recognize Human emotions. We live in a world of robots now. a digital world with everything as a sought of machine. These types are only developed further and further in order to make things we call robots.

Robots are basically the machines that are highly trained and organised to work for humans effectively. We are going so deep into the same concept that latest robots almost looks like us only. They can walk like us, work like us and do almost everything just like humans. The only difference left is the feelings, the emotions. I think we found something like that too.

Recently, there was a research done by researchers from Warwick Business School, University of Plymouth, Donders Centre at Radboud University in the Netherlands, and the Bristol Robotics Lab. This research claimed that specially trained Robots may now Recognize emotions. This shall be possible now to some extent.

Robots Will Now Recognize Human emotions Because Of AI (Artificial Intelligence)

Artificial Intelligence is the technology behind the success in Robotics and the fields related. This technology has took the game to another level. We are in a world of robots because of it. Automatic cars are also being made using the same.

Research Details on Robots

The research that took place was about the testing whether a robot can be taught to recognize emotions. A team of psychologists and computer scientists took pairs of children into consideration. Children were supposed to play with robot where a computer was built into a table with a touchscreen top. Some of them saw the original video.

Another group saw the footage reduced to ‘stickman’ figures showing exactly the same movements. Both groups agreed to same emotion label. Now, the researchers did the algorithm (machine learning) part to train the robots. This was the way in which they tried to know about the emotions of children using robots. This research was done by researchers from Warwick Business School, University of Plymouth, Donders Centre at Radboud University in the Netherlands, and the Bristol Robotics Lab.
